Muzaffar Pashazade

Muzafferus is the name of everything I make: the author on my books, my developer name on Play Market, my GitHub username, my social handles. Wherever a name is asked of me, I write Muzafferus.

Everything I make carries the same name: Muzafferus. The poetry book, the app I wrote, the podcast. Because to me the poet and the engineer are not two different people — they are the same person doing the same work: making an invisible void visible and audible.

I was born in 1995 on the bank of the Kür river, in Yevlakh; today I live in Baku. Part of my youth was spent in Sumgait, at a lyceum — one of the places that shaped how I think. Then I finished the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (now ADNSU), studied at Step IT Academy, and moved into software. But writing never left my side — first poetry, then science fiction.

Three of my books made it to print: Şizofrenik Saturn, Nar dənələri and M-66 — most of the last one I wrote during military service. All three circle the same thing: the void, the play of darkness and light, the small «I» standing before a cosmic scale. 2010–2016 were my most melancholic and most productive years; sadness was the muse.

Sound became one of my languages too: from «Axtaran Adam» to «Gec oldu», I made podcasts. Today, with Mənsurə and under the name «LineOfUs», we build «Yolda olarkən» — from Batumi to Egypt to Portugal... a life lived on the road, learning as we go.

I know that comfort can be a trap too. So I don't stop building — dozens of apps, games, startups, and my unfinished fourth book «Boş Çoxluq». None of these are separate jobs; they all push against the same void.

This site is my attempt to gather, for the first time, everything scattered across the years. It is not a finished archive — it is the next door, not yet opened.

Now

In the spirit of Derek Sivers' «now page»: where my attention is today, in 2026.

Growing ZapCast. Scaling the platform that connects drivers with spare-part sellers — digitising Azerbaijan's market.
Producing the app portfolio. Small, useful apps in an app-a-day rhythm: Mood Master, Rowloom, RentFlow, Vision 20/20.
Finishing «Boş Çoxluq». Waking the fourth book after years of sleep — the real reason this site exists.
LineOfUs — on the road. «Yolda olarkən» and shared content with Mənsurə; a nomadic life, learning as we go.
Never stop learning. Spanish, chess, algorithms and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose — with stats for everything.
Freedom and inner peace. Living and building on my own terms — without falling into the comfort trap.

Symbols
Saturn. A cosmic and a psychological image joined in one — my debut book.
Pomegranate & sand grains. Many seeds under one rind; in the hourglass each grain is a hope — fear the last one.
The door. First a locked obstacle, then a threshold crossed — from «the 40th door» to «the 41st».
Clouds, stars, the void. Clouds hide the stars; «are we alone in this universe?»
The searching man. Everything is a search — a name born from Okaber's «Axtarma», later a podcast.
Being in the middle. The place between beginnings and endings — the threshold I stand on most.
